| A three year starter for the Eagles as a junior Marcus was named the District 11-5A Offensive Player of the Year and TexasPrepInsider third team all-area honors as he ran for 1274 yards and 17 touchdowns along with 524 receiving yards and six touchdowns. As a sophomore Marcus started on the defensive side of the ball at CB and in spot duty he ran for 187 yards and three touchdowns, Murphy was named honorable mention all-district in the secondary as well. |
