Some of the recent standout players at Lufkin High School have gotten away from the Longhorns in recent years. Dez Bryant went on to star at Oklahoma State, Jamarkus McFarland opted for Norman, and Javorskie Lane set scoring records at Texas A&M. However, UT didn’t let the latest Panther sensation get away when Carrington Byndom gave his commitment to the program on February 23rd.
