Beaumont West Brook vs. Beaumont Ozen

The Annual Beaumont Bowl kicks off Week 0 between Ozen and West Brook. The Beaumont Bowl Trophy remains at West Brook and i don't see it changing hands this season either. West Brook and RB Christine Michael will be to much for Ozen.

Port Arthur Memorial vs. Bpt. Central

This will be a good game as Central is expected to be much improved this season. 5A/4A Match up here. Defense is a big question mark for Memorial. Look for the 4A team to squeeze by.

District 19 4A

Barbers Hill vs. Port Neches-Groves

Very good Non District game to kick off week 0. PN-G lost alot on Defense last season but plenty on Offense. Barbers Hill is also young in spots but i look for PN-G to win this contest.

Dayton vs. Bay City

Look for Dayton to pick up where they left off last season. A.J. Dugat and Cody Green will lead the charge for the Broncos. Bay City will look to improve with a new HC and some goos skill players but Dayton will be way to much this season.

District 20 4A

Lumberton vs. Hamshire Fannett

Another 4A vs. 3A Match up. Lumberton finished off their best season ever in 07. They did lose alot but depth should carry them to victory in this one.

Nederland vs. WO-S

What a 4A/3A Matchup for Week 0. Both teams looked sluggish in their scrimmages but will come ready to play Friday Night. WO-S should pull it out in the end.

Vidor vs. Beaumont Kelly

Vidor has looked very goos so far, Kelly is always tough but did lose alot of SR's last season. The game is in Vidor which is a very tough place to play. Vidor should be 1-0 on the season.

District 21 3A

Bridge City vs. Liberty

BC should be much improved after going 0-10 last season. Alot of starters are back and they have shown big improvement in the ri scrimmages. Liberty has a new HC in Coach Deel and should do well this season. The Cards win in a close one.

Hardin Jefferson vs. Cleveland

Cleveland has one of the best RB's in the area and their speed should be to much for the HJ Hawks. HJ does return alot but Cleveland will be to much.

Silsbee vs. Houston Davis

Look for Silsbee with several returners to win this contest even though Davis has some good Athletes themselves. Silsbee is favored to challenge WO-S this season for the 21 3A title. Silsbee wins in the 4th Quarter.
