Texas CB gives top 3 along with a couple of fellow teammates

Josh Hill, or J-Hill, was a big part of a defensive unit that was highly regarded and considered one of the best in the area. Hill stands 5-11 and weighs in at 190 pounds and sports a 4.4 40 yard dash time.  This season he accumulated 45 tackles and 5 interceptions from his cornerback position for the Klein Forest Golden Eagles.

Klein Forest finished the regular season at a more than respectable 8-2 record with their only 2 loses coming to Westfield (which went undefeated in 16-5A play) and Klein Oak (finished 9-1). If that was not enough to impress he was the defensive leader in the first round as his team defeated the highly ranked Lufkin Panthers. Hill had an interception late in the 4th quarter that sealed the win for Klein Forest. Unfortunately his prep career came to a sudden end when they lost in the second round to the Pflugerville Panthers who ended up in the state championship game themselves.

J-Hill now has multiple big time offers and is taking his time and waiting till the last minute to figure out where he will be spending the next four years of his life. As of now he has offers from Kansas, Tulane, Rice, Ole Miss, Hawaii, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Josh has an official visit coming up to visit Hawaii Jan. 18, Ole Miss on Jan. 25, and Arkansas on Feb. 1. Cal seems to have shown some interest as well especially since fellow Golden Eagle DL Kendrick Payne verbally committed there earlier and Josh will definitely throw them into the mix if they offer as well.  His top 3 at this point though are Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss.

Josh is not the only Klein Forest player getting some attention. As mention earlier DL Kendrick Payne has already given his verbal commitment to Cal. LB Chris Mazin also has a few offers and his top 3 are SFA, Northwestern St., and UCA (Central Arkansas). WR Deonte Patrick has his list narrowed to Hawaii, Kansas, and SMU.
