Surprise catchers Taylor Teagarden and Doug Hogan both went yard for the Rafters on Thursday afternoon. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's winterball action.

The Rangers’ catchers put on a power display in the losing effort on Thursday.
Designated hitter
Doug Hogan
continued to heat up, going 2-for-4 with a solo home run. He is now 4-for-9 with two homers in his last three contests.
Catcher
Taylor Teagarden
went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer, his first of the fall.
Evan Reed
came with a three-run lead in the bottom of the eighth, and he got knocked around, giving up four runs on five hits in one inning of work. He walked zero and struck out two.
Mexican Pacific League
Catcher
Jose Felix
once again played as a defensive replacement, but didn’t get an at-bat.
Venezuelan Winter League
Max Ramirez
(.243/.359/.473) was 1-for-3 with a double and a run batted in. He also reached after being hit by a pitch for the third time in two games.
David Paisano
got time in right field for defensive purposes. He didn’t have a plate appearance.
Dominican Winter League
There were no games on Thursday.
