With an interception in the final two minutes for a touchdown, Stony Point edged Cy-Fair 33-31 for the Fox Sports Southwest 7-on-7 State Championship at Kyle Field in College Station on Saturday.

Tied at 19-19 early in the second half, the Stony Point Tigers took its first lead 26-25 on a successful extra-point attempt. Cy-Fair controlled the tempo of the game leading most of the way, but struggled on PATs in the championship. The Bobcats led 19-13 at the half before the Tigers raised their game.

In the consolation bracket, Houston Stratford outran Pearland 52-27 with Spartan receiver Brett Benninger catching five touchdowns.
