After decommitting from Iowa State last month after a coaching change Brock Wempa was forced to re-open his recruitment at a very late date. The three time all-state OL from Royse City ended his recruitment on Sunday.

After a tumultuous month, Royse City's Brock Wempa made a decision Sunday morning and put to rest doubts about his college playing career as he committed to Louisiana-Monroe.

In early December, Wempa a three time all-state pick from Royse City committed to Iowa State. However in early January with the coaching change at ISU Wempa opened the process back up. However he took an official visit to ULM last week and loved the atmosphere and this morning made the pick.

The 6'3 281 pound OL who can play both guard and tackle was also getting interest from Marshall, Tulsa, Arizona and Kansas State.
