I'll go on record and state that MacArthur is the best 2-4 team in the metroplex. You can make a case for Desoto and not get an argument here.
MacArthur's non district schedule will help greatly the final four weeks of the season. What shame is there in losing to Plano, Colleyville Heritage, North Mesquite and Duncanville? MacArthur steps down drastically in competition this week.
Nimitz has lost six straight games after an opening game victory over Haltom.
Expect junior tailback James Sims and sophomore WR/RB Johnny Haynes to dominate offensively similar to how the duo played in a 24-7 victory over Grand Prairie last week.
Nimitz has lost by a combined score of 86-7 the previous three games. Confidence is shot.

Duncanville vs. Cedar Hill
This is one of the week's top games. Duncanville has won four in a row after an 0-3 start while Cedar Hill has passed every test besides Euless Trinity—a test no one is likely to pass in this state in 2008.
The Cedar Hill offense was in high gear in a 38-24 victory over Irving last week, scoring 21 first quarter points. Cedar Hills has 906 yards rushing in the last three games. Star running back Ben Malena is ONLY averaging an amazing eight yards per carry this season.
Duncanville held Irving Nimitz to only 75 yards rushing on 30 carries last week. Cedar Hill is not Nimitz, however.
If Duncanville can pass somewhat successfully, they should be in great shape. Expect a wild shootout that goes to the wire. Both defenses will struggle.

Irving vs. South Grand Prairie
South Grand Prairie is 4-0 when it scores this season and 0-2 when it does not. The two losses were 38-0 to Richardson Berkner and 14-0 to Cedar Hill. SGP enters this week off an open date while Irving has an open date after this week.
Irving has played a brutal schedule yet sits in a great spot at 4-3. Irving's three losses were against teams who are a combined 16-3 this season. With games with Duncanville and MacArthur after its open date Irving needs this win like blood.
The South Grand Prairie defense is in solid form and is rested. Irving has allowed 38 points per game in its losses.
SGP is unlikely to be shutout this week, is rested and playing in its comfort zone. Both teams are off losses to Cedar Hill. SGP allowed only 14 points while Irving allowed 38.
When in doubt, pick the better defense.
