Steele kicker commits to LA school

Recruiting is in full steam in the state of Texas as players are getting offers and weighing their choices. This week another of the state's top kickers made a decision when Matt Nelson of Schertz Steele High School committed to Louisiana Tech.

Scout.com has been contacted by the father of Matt  Nelson and he has notified us that his son, Matt, has committed to Louisiana Tech this morning.

Matt was receiving interest from Rice, SMU, South Florida, LSU, Houston, Rice and many more schools. He choose Louisiana Tech after they officially offered him on Saturday.
