Behind a big time performance from QB Nyk McKissic the Round Rock Stony Point Tigers advanced to the 7on 7 State Tournamnet with a 27-20 win over Round Rock McNeil.

TEMPLE- On a blistering hot day, the Round Rock Stony Point Tigers got a blistering performance from QB Nyk McKissic posting a 5-0 mark en route to their first trip to the 7 on 7 State Tournament since 2001. In the championship game, the Tigers scored with less than a minute left to take the 27-20 win over district rival Round Rock McNeil. Due to only ten teams being in the SQT, only one team from this SQT is advancing to state. Waco Midway will host an 8 team mini-SQT on June 28 to determine the final spot in the State Tournament.
