The final pools came down to show down between district rivals with Katy schools Cinco Ranch and Seven Lakes, and Stratford against Strake Jesuit. Find out all of the details right here.

Finals
Cy Falls vs. Klein Oak
As if an interception returned for a touchdown by Cinco Ranch’s Andy McAteer wasn’t enough, the Cougars’ Adam Hirtz caught a 30+ yard touchdown pass from Shane Ros to sealed the deal with a 42-30 victory over Katy ISD rival Seven Lakes. Ros, who used a combination of receivers through out the day including: Ryan Moos, Collin Buteaux, and Tyler Mack to name a few.

“It was important for us to qualify so it wouldn’t come down to the last week. The pressure would have been on, so it’s good to get this out of the way,” Ros said of Saturday’s victory on the Cougar’s home field. “It felt more comfortable being at home. I though we did well today, but I don’t think we performed as well as we have this summer. But we did what we had to do and made plays when we had to.”

Third place went to Stratford with a 26-20 win over Strake Jesuit in the consolation game.
