One of the top defensive back prospects in DFW is Garland Naaman Forest's Terrence Bullitt. Bullitt who at 6'3 177 boasts 4.53 speed in the forty has big time range from the safety position. Bullitt sports a 245 pound bench press and a 35 inch vertical leap, is a three year starter for the Rangers and he played a key role for a NFHS squad that posted a 9-3 record and advanced to the Class 5A area playoffs in 2007.

Terrence had a solid junior season posting 95 tackles, 2 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries in earning second team all 10-5A honors. Bullitt describes his game as being physical and aggressive but says this summer his main focus will be on improving his skills in pass coverage.

Bullitt has several big time schools who have already offered including Arizona, Kansas, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Wisconsin, SMU, Rice and Southern Mississippi. Bullitt doesn't have offers from Oklahoma or Texas A&M but he's still very interested in those two as well. Terrence says after spring football he plans on getting down to business with recruiting and narrowing his list to two or three schools.

This summer Bullitt plans on hitting the camp circuit hard attending camps at Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Texas A&M, Notre Dame could also possibly be on the camp schedule. In addition to the busy camp schedule Terrence plans on helping the lead the Rangers to the 7 on 7 State Tournament this July at Texas A&M.

The Naaman Forest DB says campus atmosphere and academics will play key roles in deciding where he lands. Bullitt who plans on majoring in business says he'd like to decide before the 2008 season but is ok with waiting if he needs to.

Terrence has some big goals for 2008 as the Rangers have some major talent returning including RB Jonathon Miller, QB Derrick Osbourne and WR John Harris. With that talent returning Bullitt is hoping NFHS can make a deep playoff push and challenge for the school's first ever state title.
