Foster Down to Three
For the past two years not many teams have taken liberties when going against the Colleyville Heritage secondary and CB Eddie Foster is one of the main reasons for that. Foster a 5'10 160 pound CB with blazing 4.4 speed in the forty is a three year starter for CHHS and with a 36 inch vertical leap he's got plenty of playmaking ability. Eddie who sports a 230 pound bench press max earned defensive sophomore of the year honors in 2006 in helping CHHS to a 10-4 record and a trip to the Class 5A State Quarter-Finals. Foster is not only a key member of the Panthers football team but he also is a member of the track team where he specializes in the sprints. "I think my biggest strength is my speed and my ability to play on an island one on one and cover, this summer I'm really focused on getting stronger and getting better in run support," said Foster. Eddie who holds one offer from Mississippi along with getting major interest from Kansas and Stanford as well. This summer Foster will look to try and get the Panthers back to the seven on seven state tournament in College Station at Texas A&M along with attending one or two camps. The Colleyville Heritage DB says campus location and academics will play a key role in deciding where he lands as Foster says he'll major in Computer Engineering. Don't look for a decision from Foster until after the 2008 season, as Eddie will look to rebound from an injury plagued season in 2007. "I am hoping we can first win district and then make a playoff run, personally I want to be a team leader and make all-state."
