One of the top offensive lineman in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is 6'6 320 pound tackle Josh Aladenoye from North Mesquite. Aladenoye who earned second team all 12-5A honors in 2007 is a three year starter for Coach Mike Robinson's Stallions.

Josh who boasts a bench press max of 320 pounds is back to 100% after dealing with lingering shoulder injuries in 2006 as a sophomore. "I think my footwork and my strength are my two biggest strengths, and I'm looking to work on getting quicker and even stronger this off-season," said the North Mesquite OT.

Right now Oklahoma and LSU are at the top of Josh's short list and Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and Texas are right behind. "I visited Oklahoma for their junior day and I really liked the school and atmosphere, and I really like LSU's overall program."

As for a summer camp schedule, Josh plans on keeping a busy schedule as he plans on making camps at LSU, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. "I really want to go to a school where I feel comfortable on campus and where academics are emphasized," said Aladenoye.

Look for a decision from Josh sometime this summer, "I think for me making a decision before the season starts is best for me, because I want to focus on my senior season and helping us make a playoff run," replied Aladenoye.

Last season North Mesquite advanced to the Class 5A playoffs but the Stallions stumbled in the bi-district round of the playoffs in a loss to Dallas Carter, with Aladenoye leading the guys in the trenches getting past round one is a good bet for North Mesquite in 2008.
