Stephenville's Chad Morris to Lake Travis

Early reports out of Stephenville cite Chad Morris as Lake Travis's hand selected successor to Jeff Dicus - a coach who headed to Duncanville earlier this month.

Early reports today from sources in Stephenville state that Chad Morris has tenatively accepted the Lake Travis coaching job, subject to school board approval.

Morris had reportedly asked his name to be taken out of consideration until a meeting with top level administrators within Lake Travis ISD took place. A higher salary, the chance to work with one of the best quarterbacks in the nation, and a continually growing population are reasons cited to take the job.

Lake Travis is expected to be 5A within the next 4 years, meanwhile, Stephenville is expected to be 3A within the next 4 years.
