As recruiting battles heat up across the country, Pflugerville (TX) running back Greg Nwoko is carefully weighing out all of his options. With a couple of offers in hand, Nwoko looks to take all of his visits before coming to a final decision.
"I have offers from New Mexico State and UTEP right now," Nwoko said. "A coach from Arizona came by the school to watch video on me and they told me they like what they saw. I think an offer will come from them soon."
He has already taken a trip to Las Cruces to check out the Aggie program.
"That trip went pretty good and my brother (Chris Nwoko) goes there," Nwoko said. "They are definitely one of my options, but I want to wait to see if more schools will show interest and see if I have more options."
And it seems like he has a few. He mentioned that both Nebraska and Minnesota have shown some interest. Even more so, they have both made his list of schools that he would like to set up visits with.
"I for sure want to visit with Arizona, Nebraska, and Minnesota," Nwoko said. "I do not have a No. 1 because I want to take all of my visits."
But the 6-foot-2, 220-pound Nwoko wants more. He has put together his senior highlights and plans to get it in the hands of a few other schools including Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma.
In his last season at Pflugerville, Nwoko rushed for 1,460 yards and 20 touchdowns. When asked about his timetable for commitment?
"I'll commit on signing day," Nwoko said.
