The Woodlands duo beginning to draw major interest

Alex Tweedy and Logan Rowe were the two biggest stars on the The Woodlands Highlanders football team this past season during the junior campaigns. These two are starting to catch a lot of college interest despite being on a Highlander team that finished up at 3-8 this year. Both were selected to be in a national combine for juniors during the US Army All American Bowl where they excelled at their respective positions.

Alex Tweedy last year alone amassed 47 receptions for 776 yards and 6 touchdowns. That is over half of the teams touchdown catches and almost half of the overall receiving yardage for the entire Highlander team. Alex has been talking to a multitude of schools such as Colorado State (where he was camp MVP), Missouri, Purdue, Central Florida, and Northwestern. According to a source close to him though his top 3 choices are Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and Boise State.

Logan Rowe was a starting cornerback for the team before an injury to the starting tailback forced him into action. In the running back role Rowe totaled 42 carries for 282 yards and 1 touchdown. Logan has been talking to his fair share of colleges as well like South Carolina, North Carolina, Arkansas, Virginia, Utah, and Ole Miss. His top 4 right now though would be Stanford, Purdue, Northwestern, and Oklahoma State.

Before these two stars start thinking too much about playing ball at the next level they will both come together and try and right the ship at their current school, The Woodlands.
