With offers from across the country and several conferences, OL Evan Epstein of Dallas Bishop Lynch seems to have things under control. He has more than a dozen schools requesting his services, but until he takes all of his visits, he does not plan to make a decision. So what is in store for the three-star Texas lineman? Texasprepinsider.com brings you this update.

When it comes to top talent on the offensive line, the Lone Star State is full of it. And that includes Dallas Bishop Lynch (TX) center Evan Epstein. With offers from a large number of Division I colleges, Epstein must choose where he will decide to visit.

And he has a long list to choose from.

“I have offers from all of the (military) academies, most of the Mountain West (Conference) and Conference USA,” Epstein said. “But I would have to say my top schools are Arizona, Air Force, Baylor, Navy, New Mexico, and a few of the Ivy League schools.”

Epstein, who stands 6-foot-4, 285-pounds, also talked about some other programs that are in pursuit of him. After recording more than 100 pancakes for two seasons in a row, schools are bound to notice.

And obviously, plenty of schools have.

“Here recently, UCLA, Miami, and Georgia Tech have been in contact with me,” Epstein said. “I am not sure if any of these schools are going to offer, but I will find out here soon.”

The next order of business for Epstein is setting up official visits. He has already booked January 11 for Air Force and the 18 for Columbia. But there are others he plans to go to.

“For January 25, I want to go to either Georgia Tech or Arizona,” Epstein said. “I also want to check in with Miami this week and see about getting down there as well.”

With the schools that have not offered him, he feels confident that that will change once they see his video and/or get him down for a visit. And though he has plenty of options, he feels there are a few more to come.

“Oh absolutely,” Epstein said when asked if he felt like he would get more offers. “I will take my visits, but I am in no hurry to make a decision because I know more things are coming. I know ULCA has been pursuing me for some time and Miami said I am at the top of their list. I am really confident about the bigger schools giving me an offer.”

So when does he plan to make his decision?

“If I find something I like then I will commit,” Epstein said. “I am looking for a good balance of academics and athletics. But, more than likely, I will hold out until signing day.”
