Katy vs. Alief Elsik: Katy has already clinch a playoff spot and have been rolling all the way through district. The Tigers face a run-happy Elsik team led by RB Jeremy Hills. He will likely get his yards and scores, but it will not be enough to hold off the Bo Mitchell/Aundre Dean-led Katy team. The Tigers roll on. Katy by 21.
Katy Mayde Creek vs. Alief Taylor: Mayde Creek is a in a good position to make postseason play and will likely need a win this week to hold that down. Taylor, led by QB Donte Elliott and David Chapman, could play spoiler and make things difficult. This one is hard to predict, but the Rams have been a lot more consistent than the Lions. Mayde Creek by 10.
Alief Hastings vs. Katy Morton Ranch: Hastings has been looking like a playoff-caliber team and it looks like postseason play is in the future. The Bears should come out on top in this match up. But, because Morton Ranch is a team with plenty of fight, the score will not be too high. Alief Hastings by 14.
Katy Cinco Ranch vs. Katy Taylor: This in-town match up is one that could turn out to be a good one. Look for the Cougars to come out firing after the Katy loss last week. Taylor will play with the Cougars for a while, but I see Cinco Ranch being the victors in this one. Katy Cinco Ranch by 10.
