Cy Ridge vs. Cy Creek: Cy Ridge’s high-powered offense continues to show its dominance against nearly any opponent. With the QB Russell Shepard and RB Hasan Lipscomb combo, the Rams are tough to beat. Cy Ridge should win this one by a sizable margin. Cy Ridge by 21.
Cy Fair vs. Cy Falls: With national lights on this game, plenty of stars will
shine. RB Sam McGuffie is back in good form and should have a strong showing. But the Bobcat defense face a tough, score-at-will Golden Eagles offense led by QB Kolby Gray and RB Shane Turner. Look for a lot of scoring in this one. This game will stay close in the first half, but I see Cy Falls pulling away in the fourth quarter. I’m really reaching with this predication, but I’m going with the Golden Eagles. Cy Falls by 10.
Strake Jesuit vs. Cy Springs: After dropping their first game last week, look for the Crusaders to come out fired up and ready for Cy Springs. Look for QB Jeff McVaney and WR Davis Burck to hook up plenty of times and lead Strake Jesuit to victory. Starke Jesuit by 14.
Langham Creek vs. Jersey Village: Look for Langham Creek to be hungry seeking that first district win this season. Jersey Village will likely stick to the strong ground game in an attempt to wear down the Lobo defense. These are two teams fighting to make some end-of-the year noise in the district so it will be a pretty good battle. I see this being a low-scoring game that goes in favor of the Lobos. Langham Creek by 14.
