North Mesquite WR Picks Baylor

After a solid junior season increased his stock this off-season North Mesquite WR LaNear Sampson made the call today according to sources close to TexasPrepInsider.

Sampson who is known as a physical reciever who can go up and get the ball and then deliver punishment to DB's was named first team all 12-5A as a junior catching 24 passes for 412 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Besides Baylor, Sampson had gotten scholarship offers from Arizona, Duke, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Virginia, Wisconsin, North Texas and Rice.
