In 2006, Saheed earned second team all 18-5A honors rushing for 586 yards and 4 touchdowns and he chipped in 336 yards receiving as well. Imoru besides being a key member of the Hastings High football team also runs track for the Bears.
"My agility and ability to break tackles are my two biggest strengths, I also have good vision. This off-season my main focus is to improve my blocking and getting stronger," said Imoru.
Saheed does boast an offer from Army and in addition to the offer from the Black Knights, the Hastings RB has gotten interest from Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, LSU and Notre Dame.
This summer look for Imoru to attend several camps including Texas A&M, Texas, TCU and Houston. Saheed lists academics, campus atmosphere and how gets along with the coaching staff as major factors in determining where he lands.
The RB from Alief Hastings High says he'd like to make a decision on where he'll land before the start of the 2007 season if possible. As for goals 2007 Imoru has high hopes, "I'd like to get 1700 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns personally, mort important are team goals. I'd like to help the team make a playoff run."
