Stephenville's Davis Commits

After two stellar seasons leading the Stephenville defense, Safety Cody Davis commits to the Texas Tech Raiders.

Stephenville S Cody Davis who as a sophomore was a second team Class 4A all-state selection, topped that sensational debut by posting 99 tackles, 7 forced fumbles, 21 pass breakups and scored 3 defensive touchdowns to help the Yellow Jackets to a 10-2 record all while earning first team all-state honors.

Those big time numbers earned the rangy 6'2 190 pound safety several scholarship offers and last night Davis verbally committed to Coach Mike Leach's Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Also in the Davis sweepstakes were Baylor, Duke, Houston, Mississippi, SMU, and Vanderbilt. Recommended Stories
