Legendary Texas HS Content Team Joins Scout

Scout.com is pleased to announce that the pioneers of Texas HS team and recruiting coverage have joined Scout.com as the publisher of the Texas HS Site.
Powered by numerous writers, reporters, publishers and fans on the ground in the state of Texas, the "TexasPrepInsider" team is the most respected content team in high school football coverage for the most serious fan and coaching community. For years, this team has been the #1 authority in the state on rankings, previews and predictions. TexasPrepInsider originally started as TexasPrepFB and was one of four high school sites on the original Rivals.com network. After the first collapse of rivals.com, TPF was the lone high school site remaining and changed it's name to TexasPrepXtra with the merger of the High School Xtra. With the merger, TPX then became the force in the high school football season as TPX rankings were soon promoted in over 70 newspapers statewide.
The current TexasPrepInsider team has over 100 years of experience in the industry. In Dallas/Fort Worth alone, two of our team members saw over 170 prep games. Our Houston area writers have chosen to write for the former TPX over major newspaper opportunies, and local newspaper writers frequently contact us about freelancing.
Our insider articles are deeper and more comprehensive than you will find anyplace else, and the style and flare that our local area experts bring to the table helps illuminate high school football in new and revolutionary ways - and ultimately, that makes TexasPrepInsider.com so special. From radio shows, to local television, to opinions on the message boards to article-length team previews on EVERY team, TexasPrepInsider differentiates itself from the competition by RELIABLY delivering what it promises, with an array and diversity of articles second to none.
Over 35,000 people have registered to see our team's content and stories. Recruits know us from seeing us at games, and parents know us from our work online. We embrace the newest and latest technology to add the best functionality to the website that the network will provide. Whatever we do, it is with the fan in mind. At the end of the day, this is why we left Rivals to join Scout.com.
With Scout.com we can not only do a better job covering high school sports (like hoops too!) but be a more positive force for the high school football recruits in Texas. Scout.com believes in growing the local TPI brand, as well as letting the local content team participate in rankings an team coverage. Quality people and the ability to make a bigger positive impact on the Texas high school football players looking for scholarships are the main reasons we decided to make the change.
Thanks for all of those who have supported us in the past and will support us in the future.
TexasPrepInsider,
WE ARE THERE
