The VitalsEmmanuel Porter is a 6-foot-5, 185-pound receiver from Dallas (Texas) Lincoln. Porter hauled in 29 catches for 404 yards and 3 touchdowns in 2012 helping the Tigers to an undefeated district championship and 10-2 record.

The BreakdownPorter combines excellent size and speed to be a nice downfield threat. Whether he's drawn good coverage or used his speed to outrun the defense, Porter consistently makes plays vertically. Porter uses his 6-5 frame to out-muscle defensive backs and has excellent presence adjusting to the ball whether it's a high throw and an underthrown ball. He also runs good intermediate routes and catches the ball well for a player used to catching basketballs. It's easy to forget that his junior season was his first season as a high school football player. What completes Porter as a receiver is his ability to block, which he still has work to do in that area but for a player still learning the nuances of the position, he made improvements throughout the season.
