"I thought he (Hildreth) showed great poise and leadership qualities. With nice size and a good arm, it's likely going to be a matter of time before schools jump on board," National Recruiting Analyst Greg Powers, who covers the Midlands Region said.
For the moment, the 6-foot-2.5, 196-pound Hildreth said that there are not many schools that have made contact, but there have been a few.
Plus, Hildreth plans to make a few stops this off season as well.
"I don't have any offers right now. And utsa is the only school really looking at me right now," Hildreth said. "I'm going to look forward to making as many camps and visits as I can. I want to try and get to Georgia. I like them a lot. Texas A&M is pretty cool too."
Last season, Hildreth threw for 3,000 yards, 22 touchdowns to only 10 interceptions.
