After leading by ten at halftime, Seguin expanded its lead to 25 by the end of the third quarter.
Parrish capped off his own personal 8-0 run with a four point play that blew the game open.
Brandon Parrish is a 6'6 shooting guard from Arlington Seguin who says he will bring size to the guard position at TCU.
Using his 6'6 frame and athleticism, Parrish also thrives at what matters most to TCU head coach Trent Johnson--defense.
Parrish began Tuesday night's game with two dunks before getting it going from behind the arc--finishing with four made three pointers on the evening.
Shooting: A-Parrish hit 4-7 three pointers on the evening. His four point play in the third quarter was the knock out blow.
Attacking the rim: B-Parrish did not have a drive from the perimeter off the bounce, but he twice grabbed an offensive rebound and finished with authority. When his team needed a bucket in the third quarter, Parrish posted on the block--finishing with a layup once and getting to the free throw line the other time.
Defense: B+-Parrish had two steals that led to fast break buckets, but he also was effective in running Seguin's full court press. His length and athleticism will allow him to be a good defender at the next level as well.
Intangibles: A-Parrish has great non-verbal cues. He is steady and his effort is constant. When things are going well and when things are going poorly, Parrish remains the same--a good leader on the court.
Other notes: Parrish has a brother, Josh, who is a 6'3 freshman that looks like he may have a promising future on the hardwood as well.
